RFLF Low Pressure Type Direct Acting Sustaining Valve
Description
When the pressure sustaining valve is installed in the user's water distribution pipeline, it is primarily used to coordinate with the minimum operating pressure in the main water supply pipeline, ensuring balanced supply pressure between upstream and downstream. Whether in normal conditions or during disasters, the main pipeline can maintain a certain pressure. When installed in a water supply zone, the pressure sustaining valve helps maintain the maximum operating pressure within the pipeline.
The operating principle of the pressure sustaining valve is to maintain a preset back pressure. If the back pressure drops to the set value, the valve will start to close to sustain the back pressure. When the pressure recovers, the valve will reopen. It is typically used to maintain the pressure of a critical upstream system and, if necessary, to limit the flow to a non-critical downstream system.
