Normally Open Solenoid Valve
A normally open solenoid valve is designed to remain open when de-energized, allowing the medium to flow freely. When the coil is energized, the electromagnetic field pushes the plunger downward, overcoming the spring force, which seals the valve orifice and stops the flow. Normally open solenoid valves are particularly suitable for applications requiring the valve to stay open for extended periods, as they are more energy-efficient in this state. Additionally, they are ideal in situations where the valve needs to automatically open during a power outage for safety purposes.
