MD Normally Closed Explosion-Proof Solenoid Valve

QUEEN SOLENOID VALVES

Discription

MD-P10~25-Ex explosion-proof solenoid valve is equipped with imported Italian explosion-proof coils, certified by ATEX and IECEx. This normally closed, pilot-operated diaphragm solenoid valve features connection sizes ranging from PT3/8" to 1" and requires a minimum operating pressure of 0.5 kgf/cm² to open.

  • Explosion proof : Ex mb llC T4 Gb、Ex mb lllC T135°C Db.

  • Pilot operated, high flow rate and low electric power consumption only 5.2W.

  • Suitable for Air, Inert gases, Water, Kerosene oil, Light oil (Below  50  cst).

  • Operating pressure range from 0.1 ~ 16 kgf/cm², quick acting, durable usage.

  • Piping is simple and convenient, applicable to the upright pipe or a horizontal pipe connected unrestricted.

  • The diaphragm can be selected from NBR, EPDM, or Viton.

Seal Material Characteristics

• NBR

Temperature : -5~80°C

∙ Pros : Economical, widely used, with good oil and wear resistance.

∙ Cons : Unsuitable for polar solvents like nitro compounds, ozone, and ketones.

• EPDM

Temperature : -10~130°C

∙ Pros : Resistance to polar solvents (alcohols, ketones, ethylene glycol) and mild acids/bases.

∙ Cons : Not suitable for gasoline, mineral oil, and aromatic hydrocarbons.

• VITON (FPM/FKM)

Temperature : -10~120°C

∙ Pros : Stable, aging-resistant, and resistant to most oils and solvents.

∙ Cons : Costly, not recommended for ketones, esters, or nitro compounds.

Cautions

1. Before installation, please check whether the solenoid valve voltage is consistent with the power supply voltage.

  • AC voltage tolerance: ±10%

  • DC voltage tolerance: ±1%

2. If there are unclean impurities in the fluid, a filter should be installed to avoid reducing the service life and hindering the operation of the solenoid valve.

3. Please install the solenoid valve in the direction of the fluid.

4. Pilot-operated solenoid valves require a minimum pressure to open.

5. Not suitable for freezing fluids.
