Flow Switch

Flow switch, also known as a water flow switch, consists of a magnetic piston or paddle, a return spring, a reed switch, and a housing made from materials such as engineering plastics, brass, or stainless steel. Its working principle is that when the water flow reaches a specific rate or pressure, it pushes the internal piston or paddle. Through the action of magnetic force, the built-in reed switch is activated or released, completing the switching action and converting the water flow status into a switch signal.

The flow switch is primarily used to detect the flow or stoppage of fluid in pipelines. The activation point can be set according to system control requirements. Once the flow rate reaches or falls below the preset value, the flow switch outputs an On/Off signal to the controller, enabling automatic system startup or shutdown.
